Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KLAE PLT website and the purchase of training programmes, products and services offered through it. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

KLAE PLT is the Training, Investment and Asset Management Arm of the KL Automation Engineering Group of Companies, located at No. 53, Jalan Metro 1/1, Bandar Metro Puchong, 47160 Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia.

2. Use of This Website

  • You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of this website by, any third party.
  • You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this website, its servers, or any connected database.
  • Content on this website is provided for general information and may be updated without notice.

3. Training Registrations

  • A registration is confirmed only upon our written confirmation and, where applicable, receipt of payment or an approved HRD Corp grant.
  • Course schedules, trainers and venues may be adjusted where reasonably necessary; we will notify registered participants of any material change.
  • Certification outcomes (including IECEx CoPC assessment results) are determined by the relevant assessment and certification processes and are not guaranteed by course attendance.
  • Participants must comply with all safety instructions issued at our training facilities.

4. Orders and Payment

  • All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless stated otherwise and may change without prior notice; confirmed orders are honoured at the price at the time of order.
  • Payments are processed through licensed third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card or online banking credentials.
  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, including where a product is out of stock or a pricing error has occurred, in which case any amount paid will be refunded.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations, transfers and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, course materials and training content — is owned by or licensed to KLAE PLT and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Course materials are provided for participants' personal use and may not be reproduced, distributed or used for commercial training purposes without our written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KLAE PLT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or participation in our programmes. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 where applicable.

8. Personal Data

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
