Solar Panel Training — Intermediate PVsyst Design

A high-level technical module focused on mastering PVsyst — the industry-standard software for the study, sizing and data analysis of complete PV systems.

Course Synopsis

This course is intended for photovoltaic (PV) designers who have some basic experience using PVsyst software and are looking to advance to the intermediate level of design. Participants should already have a basic grid-connected PV system design concept. The course covers advanced settings for losses parameters, PV systems with multiple arrays and multiple orientations, handling databases, and near-shading construction for large-scale solar farms — using Google Maps import and hilly-land creation.

Who Should Attend

  • Design Engineer
  • PV Installer
  • PV Electrician
  • Project Manager

Course Objectives

This course aims to train participants to design PV systems for more complicated sites.

Course Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Design various types of multi-array and multi-orientation PV systems.
  • Construct near-shading scenes using zone setting, Google Maps import and hilly-land creation.
  • Create a solar resource database in the library.
  • Set advanced losses parameters.

2-Day Program
